Race Description

Aquablazing is when Appalachian Trail thru-hikers kayak or canoe a portion of the trail.  Now you can have the chance to experience an aquablaze along the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River with the Massanutten Mountains Scenic backdrop!

REV3Endurance is pleased to introduce our Aqua Blaze Sprint! This is a fun race that combines running and watercraft as part of your race route (kayaking for soloist/canoeing for 2 person teams). Participants will travel on foot (running or walking) 5.25 miles via well marked trail at Seven Bends State Park and then sprint paddle 2 miles on the Shenandoah River back towards the start line. Racers will finish with a 1/4 mile sprint from the river pull-out to the finish line! Parking will be walking distance from the race the event starting line.

June 15th ^

• 7:00 - 7:45am Race Day Packet Pick-Up & Transition Area Open (Corral Area)

• 8:30am: Pre-Race(Mandatory for all team captains)

• 9:00am: Race Start 

• 11:30pm: Race End

• Post-Race Awards and Hot Food to Follow!​

• Enough food and water for the event

• Cell phone fully charged

• Dry bag for your cell phone

• PFD Worn at All Times while on the paddle section.

Lodging

Primitive camping & car-camping is available at the Start/Finish for $20 per camp site for race participants.

 All proceeds will benefit Friends of Seven Bends State Park. The State Park will collect these directly at the race. 

Woodstock, VA has various lodging & hotel options within 15 minutes of the race start/finish.

​General Refund Policy

REV3Endurance offers credit for future races if you must cancel your race entry. All credit processing is subject to a $10 processing fee. 

​

More than 90 days before the event.

• 100% of your registration fee will be given as future credits. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​Between 90 to 45 days before the event.

• 75% of your registration fee will be given as future credits, minus processing fee when initiated 30 days before race day. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​

Between 45-10 days prior to the event:

• 50% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus processing fee. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​

Less than 10 days before the event.

• No credits within 10 days from an event.

• We cannot refund registration fees.

**Active Duty Military: If you are unable to attend due to active duty, you may receive a refund upon providing official documentation regarding your deployment. Please contact nick@rev3endurance.com for additional details.
