Race Description 24 Hour

 

The REV3Endurance 24 Hour Adventure Race will be hosted in the scenic New River Gorge, West Virginia May 17-18, 2025 at ACE Adventure Resort. Designed for all ability-levels, you will explore the beautiful New River Gorge National Park and surrounding areas by way of mountain bike, trek, and guided whitewater rafting. Our river segment will feature multiple rapids sections of the New River. Additionally, racers will see scenic overlooks, historical features, and abandoned coal mines. Elite teams will find the course adventurous, challenging, while all teams will enjoy the beautiful scenery as they push themselves with teamwork and motivation through the finish line.  We anticipate the use of GPX tracking to allow family and friends to follow teams online. While cut-off times will exist, the course design features short-course options to assist all teams with reaching the finish line.

Teams of 1-4 racers are allowed.  We will be using GPX tracking to allow family and friends to follow teams online. The race will consist of road biking, gravel biking and mountain biking on some nice trail systems. The paddling section will consist of 12 miles of white water rafting with a guide.  The trekking will consist of a few different types of trails and off-trail checkpoints for racers to find.  There are lots of route options to get to the different transition areas to resupply and access to several towns along the route. Whitewater rafting will be guided with several rapids sections. Biking will be varied across trail systems, road, and gravel.

The REV3Endurance New River Gorge 12 Hour Adventure Race is an action-packed single-day version of our 24 Hour Adventure Race. We will host the event at Ace Adventure Resort, West Virginia May 17, 2025. Race Packet Pickup

Packet pickup location will be at Ace Adventure Park. It is required that all forms be completely filled out and signed  for each member of your team.  You will get your race t-shirt, race map, Rules of travel and any race numbers at packet pick-up.

​Mandatory Equipment

• Enough food and water for the event

• Bike - front suspension at a minimum is recommended

• Front & Rear bike light

• Bike helmet

• Outside maps are NOT allowed.

• Rules of Travel - Provided by REV3Endurance

• Cell phone fully charged for emergency communication only!!

• Basic repair kit for your bike (tube, pump and patch kit) (One Per Team)

• Basic Medical Kit (One Per team)

• Rain Jacket & Pants

• Wool base layer shirt

• Emergence blanket

• PFD & Paddle Helmet (Provided by ACE Paddle Guides on Course) - You must use their gear on the paddle).

Transitions

This race is a point to point race.  There will be (4) transition areas to resupply.  You will be able to leave your bike while you are trekking for checkpoints.

Unofficial results will be announced at the awards ceremony and post-race official results will be posted to our web site 24 – 48 hours after the event.

General Refund Policy

REV3Endurance offers credit for future races if you must cancel your race entry. All credit processing is subject to a $10 processing fee. 

​

More than 90 days before the event.

• 100% of your registration fee will be given as future credits. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​Between 90 to 45 days before the event.

• 75% of your registration fee will be given as future credits, minus processing fee when initiated 30 days before race day. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​

Between 45-10 days prior to the event:

• 50% of your registration fee will be given as future race credits, minus processing fee. Race credit will be good for 12 months.

​

Less than 10 days before the event.

• No credits within 10 days from an event.

• We cannot refund registration fees.

**Active Duty Military: If you are unable to attend due to active duty, you may receive a refund upon providing official documentation regarding your deployment. Please contact nick@rev3endurance.com for additional details.
